You arrive along the Camino de la Cartuja, three kilometres from the centre of Burgos. There is parking on the estate and, according to Google, a wheelchair-accessible entrance and car park.

Chairs on the lawn, beneath the trees or beside the pool: the photographs of the finca and of its couples show open-air ceremonies in several corners.

Beside the pool and among the trees, with shaded areas and seats, one couple says. The open bar is the finca’s; the food comes from the caterer you choose from those it selects.
